In questo volume sono raccolti e analizzati i dati sulla produzione, comprensione e ripetizione delle frasi derivate da movimento in italiano nei bambini sordi con impianto cocleare con lo scopo di individuare quali, tra le strutture in analisi, siano le più difficili da acquisire per la popolazione di riferimento. Nel volume viene presentato anche il protocollo del training delle frasi relative basato sull’insegnamento esplicito delle regole sintattiche, i cui risultati mostrano un miglioramento nella produzione e nella comprensione delle frasi derivate da movimento, oltre che nelle abilità narrative dei bambini sordi con impianto cocleare. Participants were tested on the production, comprehension, and repetition of sentences derived by A’ movement. The performance of the children with cochlear implants was compared with the performance of a group of children with normal hearing. Results showed a better performance of hearing children than deaf children, and the typical subject-object asymmetry common to both groups. As for the training part, three case studies are presented on the adaptation into Italian of the linguistic training of relative clauses. The linguistic training follows the protocols developed for adults with aphasia and children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
