Parasite in the intestine of humans; intermediate host is pork.
Individual (tapeworm) with mature proglottids, containing full of eggs utera (1a). Scolex with suckers and rostellum (1b). Hooks of the rostellum (1c).
Oncosphere or larva with six hooks (2).
Pig meat infested by cysticercus with invaginated protoscolex (3), cysticercus with evaginated scolex (4), section of a cysticercus with invaginated protoscolex (5).
