Acorn worms; marine, living in burrows or under stones.
Acorn worm with a preoral proboscis, collar and long vermiform trunk, without segmentation and appendages.
2) Section of the collar with buccal diverticulum, pharynx with gill slits, dorsal and ventral vessels. 3) Transverse section with gill slits (4).
5, 6) Tornaria larvae; 7, 8, 9) Juvenile stages.
10, 11, 12) Juvenile developmental stages from rich in yolk eggs, without a tornaria stage.
