Parasites in the caecum and small intestine of humans and other mammals eating fish, largely distributed in Egypt and Far East. They have a genital sucker endowed with spines.
Internal anatomy: digestive system with two intestinal caeca (green); male reproductive system with testes (bleu); female reproductive system with ovary, uterus (pink) and vitellaria.
