Taenia echinococcus
Adult tapeworm, small in size, with 3 proglottids, lives in the intestine of a dog or other carnivore.
Scolex with 4 suckers and a rostrellum with a crown of hooks.
Part of a hydatid cyst developing in humans, sheep, monkeys, and cattle.
Young scolices in a daughter cyst.
Hooks isolated from rostrellum.
