Phylum Echinodermata
Class Holothuroidea
Living in marine habitats.
1) Cucumaria, with tube feet and ten branched tentacles.
2) Holothuria (sea cucumber), with dorsal tube feet modified in papillae.
3) Benthodytes, benthic depressed organism: dorsal and ventral sides. Clear bilateral simmetry.
4) Cucumaria incurvata, synonymous of Leptopenctata tergestina.
5 e 5‘) Ypsilothuria, a deep-sea form; oral portion moved near the anal posterior portion, owing to the extraordinary shortening of the dorsal cyclomer.
7) Pelagothuria, an oceanic pelagic species, with long arms connected to the base with a membrane.
