Living in marine habitats
1) Adult stage with prehensile cirri at the aboral pole. Arms which are radial, flexible, with a double series of pinnules, are visible.
Calyx pentaradial symmetry: the dichotomous division of the five arms is evident.
4-6) free-swimming doliolaria larval stages.
7) Start of the attachment to a substrate;
8) metamorphosis to pentacrinoid stage.
