Parasites of the intestine of humans.
Scolex and strobila of Taenia (1).
Taenia saginata. Cattle is the intermediate host. Scolex with suckers (2), proglottid with a male and female reproductive system (3), mature proglottid with full of eggs uterus (4), section of a cysticercus (5).
Taenia solium. Pork is the intermediate host. Scolex with suckers and rostellum of hooks (6), proglottid with a male and female reproductive system (7), mature proglottid with full of eggs uterus (8), section of a cysticercus (9).
