Description
The series focuses on those texts in which philosophical research know how to compete with other disciplines (from the so-called "hard" sciences to the sciences of man and society) and other manifestations of human culture (art, literature, poetry, religion). In this perspective, the orientation is theoretical, but can include works of a more strictly historical-philosophical nature, especially when problematically oriented. There are some problems and research topics considered as particularly significant, that cluster around three centers and essential keywords: language, art and politics. The 'philosophies' to which it refers more directly (but without exceptions) are theoretical philosophy, philosophy of language, philosophy of literature, aesthetics, political philosophy and 'not philosophical' disciplines such as linguistics, neuroscience, art history, literary criticism, the new media studies, political science.
