Arenicola (1) with gills, **Chaetopterus (2), Spirorbis, extracted from its tube (3).
Serpula (4), filtering organism with a tripartite crown of tentacles. 6-8) Gills, circulatory system; cerebral ganglia, circumpharyngeal connectives and ventral nerve cord.
*Formerly defined as Polychaeta.
** Chaetopterus is presently placed outside Pleistoannelida
