Didascalia dattiloscritta proveniente dalla collezione privata di Sergio Nave ove si riporta il testo della interpretazione fotografica della fortezza volante colpita dalla contraerea: "Liberator over Italy – After bombing in support of the 8th Army drive in northern Italy, this B-24 Liberator of the U.S. Army 15th Air Force has been hit by flak and the force of the explosion has crumpled the wing. The big plane caught fire and plunged into the ground. Two men bailed out of the burning plane. 17 April 1945. Print rec'd 17 April 1945 from the BPR to accompany Press release "Liberator over Italy" Copied 17 April 1945. Used in issue of "IMPACT", July 1945".
